University of Sargodha

The University of Sargodha is an open examination college situated in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan.
It was Founded in 2002 by a mandate of the Government of Pakistan, the college is made out of the focal grounds in Sargodha, and seven branch satellite grounds situated in (Faisalabad Satellite Campus and Women Campus Faisalabad), Lahore, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali and Bhakkar. Its first acting administrator was Vice-Chancellor Riaz-ul-Haq Tariq. Previous Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sargodha, Dr. Muhammad Akram Chaudhary has been granted best Vice-Chancellor of any college in Pakistan. It presents eight resources in the college and has 137 projects, of which 53 are for M.Phil. what's more, Ph.D.. 400 instructive establishments are associated with the college.

History
De'Montmorency University was set up at Shahpur Sadr in 1929, Later it was renamed to Govt. School Sargodha, at Shahpur before freedom. The University was moved to Sargodha in 1946. 

In 1987-88, post graduate classes were presented at Govt. College in the controls of English, Urdu, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Islamic Studies, History. 


In November 2002, University was renamed to the University of Sargodha. Riaz-ul-Haq Tariq was first Vice-Chancellor, acting from 2002 to 2007. Along these lines, Professor Dr. Muhammad Akram Chaudhary headed the university from February 2007 to 2011. Subsequent to 2011, Muhammad Ali was the acting Vice-Chancellor, however at present Muhammad Akram Chaudhary has come back to his obligations as Vice-Chancellor of University of Sargodha.
